RAILFORUM 2017 SEMINAR IN KOUVOLA HAS GENERATED A GREAT DEAL OF INTEREST

The highlight of the logistics event in Kouvola between 25 and 29 September 2017 is the Railforum 2017 seminar. The seminar will bring together railway logistics experts from all over the world at Kuusankoskitalo on 28 September 2017.
The speakers at the seminar include John Cohn of IBM, one of the foremost experts in blockchain technology, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland Murat Nurtleuov. Local leaders and other high-level representatives from Xian and Zhengzhou in China will also be attending. The Minister of Transport and Communications, Anne Berner, will be representing the Finnish government at the event. The seminar will be opened by Kouvola City Manager Marita Toikka.
The expert speeches and discussions will offer the latest information in the field, and will introduce future trends. Topical issues include railway hubs, the Railgate Finland railway corridor from Asia to Europe, and intermodal and smart transportation. The seminar will be hosted by Peter Nyman.

The national railway company of Kazakhstan has appointed Unytrade Oy as the operator and its representative in Finland.
